Export a video

Start the export

Click Render Video at the top right of the editor
The Export Video window opens.
Render Video is the button at the far right. The disk icon beside it saves the project.

If you have not activated ShotGlass yet, paste the key from your purchase email and click Continue. Already activated? This step is skipped.

Lost your key? Click Get your license key to have it sent again.

Setting	What to pick
Resolution	Project Native shows your canvas size in brackets and keeps it. Otherwise 480p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, 4K, 8K, or Custom
Frame Rate	60 FPS (Smooth) for cursor movement, 30 FPS (Standard) for a smaller file, 24 FPS (Cinema) for a filmic look
Audio	Leave on unless you want a silent clip
Colour space	sRGB under Advanced, unless you know the destination wants Display P3

Click Export Video and pick a name and folder
Then wait. Rendering and finalising both have to finish.
You should see: A completion screen shows where the file went, with Show in Finder and Export Again.

Click Show in Finder and play the MP4 outside ShotGlass
Check the first frame is not blank, one zoom looks right, the loudest audio is not distorted, and the last frame is what you intended.

Do this	Why
Drop the resolution	Nobody sees 4K in a Slack thread or an email
Drop to 30 FPS	Halves the frames. Fine unless you are showing fast cursor movement
Trim the project first	The cheapest saving is the footage you did not need
